On May 8, 2025, Dr. Liu, Political Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education (MOE), visited the university to inspect the "General Project Office of the MOE 30+ University Pilot Program." He was received by Vice President Sheng-Ju Chan, who also delivered a briefing.
